Graphic design volunteer

We need a graphic designer to work with our Communications Manager to create visuals and templates that help engage, grow and mobilise our audiences on social media and diversify the ways in which we empower women to exercise their legal rights.

Location: Remote

Time Commitment: We estimate this project to take a minimum of 5hrs a week for 1 month, or 3hrs a week for 2 months. If you have graphic design expertise and are interested in the role but unsure of the time commitment, please get in touch and we will try to accommodate where we can.

Video content creation volunteer

We need a woman* volunteer video content creator to collaborate with our Communications Manager to use our legal guides and campaigns to produce engaging and empowering feminist legal informational content for Instagram and TikTok. This will help grow our supporter base on social and diversify the ways in which we empower women through the law with engaging and educational legal content. We have an Instagram following of 12K and have yet to start posting on TikTok.

Location: (Remote and some attendance in the London office) 

Time Commitment: We estimate this project to take a minimum of 3hrs a week for 2 months. If you have video content creation experience and are interested in the role but unsure of the time commitment, please get in touch and we will try to accommodate where we can.

Volunteer research assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented woman* volunteer to assist with archival research ahead of our 50th anniversary in 2025. The volunteer will work closely with our communications and fundraising staff to conduct research from Rights of Women’s Archives.

Location: Hybrid (Remote and some attendance in the London office and Feminist Library) 

Time Commitment: We anticipate this research will require around 36 hours, over a maximum of 3 months

Office volunteers

Office volunteers support the administration and delivery of our vital legal advice and information services. This is an opportunity to gain experience working within a leading women’s legal organisation, learn more about the work we do, as well as attend our training and other events.

The volunteer will be a well-motivated, organised and reliable woman* with an understanding of and commitment to the work of Rights of Women. Computer literacy and good interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is an ability to work as part of a small team, and a commitment to our aims and objectives. We are looking for a minimum commitment of 1 day per week, ideally on a Monday, for a period of at least 3 months. This role is based at our London office.
