Our volunteer legal advisers are vital to the delivery of our telephone advice lines.
To volunteer with us you must be a woman*, and a qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with a current practising certificate and experience in either family or employment law.
You must be willing to commit to deliver one advice session each month. Advice sessions on the Family and Sexual Harassment advice lines are 2 hours.
All of our staff and volunteers are currently working remotely and we will consider applications from women across England and Wales.
Volunteer legal advisers receive training and expenses.
*Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9 Part I) applies.

Office volunteers support the administration and delivery of our vital legal advice and information services. This is an opportunity to gain experience working within a leading women’s legal organisation, learn more about the work we do, as well as attend our training and other events.
The volunteer will be a well-motivated, organised and reliable woman* with an understanding of and commitment to the work of Rights of Women. Computer literacy and good interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is an ability to work as part of a small team, and a commitment to our aims and objectives. We are looking for a minimum commitment of 1 day per week, ideally on a Monday, for a period of at least 3 months. This role is based at our London office.
