Community Partnerships

We receive vital pro bono support from a range of professionals including legal advice, IT advice and support, and graphic design.

Rights of Women is truly grateful for the interest, generosity and commitment shown by businesses that choose to support our work through donations and fundraising. These relationships are important to us, and we recognise the positive impact that working together can have in advancing the rights of women and improving access to justice.

As a charity, we are committed to maintaining our independence and integrity, while building supportive and constructive relationships with organisations that share our values. This guidance explains how we can work together in a way that is positive, transparent and mutually beneficial.

Our Approach

We warmly welcome donations and fundraising activities in support of our work, and we are always pleased to collaborate in ways that highlight the difference this support makes.

As an independent charity, we focus on ensuring that our relationships remain values-led and centred on the women we serve. This means we work with businesses in ways that celebrate their support, while maintaining a clear distinction between charitable activity and commercial promotion.

We aim to create partnerships that feel meaningful, respectful and rewarding for everyone involved.

Recognition and visibility

We are pleased to recognise and thank businesses for their support in a way that reflects both their contribution and our mission. Where appropriate, we can:

  • Acknowledge business support across our platforms (such as newsletters or social media), using clear and factual language
  • Highlight the impact of donations or fundraising on our services and the women we support
  • Provide letters of thanks or recognition for fundraising carried out on our behalf

Our recognition focuses on the positive difference your support makes, helping to tell the story of the impact we can achieve together.

Working together

To ensure our relationships remain consistent with our values and the trust placed in us, we take a thoughtful approach to how we collaborate. For example, we:

  • Keep our communications focused on our charitable work and impact
  • Work with supporters to agree how our name and branding can be used appropriately
  • Approach joint activities in a way that maintains clarity between charitable support and commercial messaging

If you have ideas for how you’d like to support us, we’re always happy to discuss these and find an approach that works well for everyone.

Partnerships and sponsorships

For businesses interested in developing a deeper relationship such as longer-term support, co-branded initiatives or “charity of the year” partnerships we welcome the opportunity to explore this together.

These partnerships are considered on a case-by-case basis, and we work collaboratively to agree clear expectations, shared goals, values and mutual benefits. Our aim is to build partnerships that are positive, impactful and aligned with our values.
