Our statement in response to the riots in the UK

We believe in equality, justice and safety for all women and girls.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families of Elsie Dot Stancombe, Bebe King and Alice Dasilva Aguia, and join all those grieving their deaths.

We will not let violence against women and girls be weaponised in efforts to spread hate and division. We strongly condemn the racist, Islamophobic, and anti-immigrant riots which have terrorised marginalised communities across the country.

It is our shared responsibility to reject and respond to the rise of the far-right and challenge the normalisation of prejudiced and hostile narratives that seek to spread fear and division.
