This free training covers immigration status options for migrant women and families following domestic violence, including legal options, support available, and practical tips.

This free training aims to give participants knowledge of the different types of immigration status and the legal options available to migrant women to regularise their immigration status following domestic violence. Participants will also gain knowledge of how children and young adults as part of family units can regularise their status and financial and other support available to migrant women as well as tips on practical ways to support women through the legal process.
Who Can Attend / Eligibility Criteria
This series is open to all non-legal professionals working in London boroughs on violence against women and girls issues from the community, voluntary and statutory sectors including refuge workers, IDVAs, ISVAs, social workers, housing officers, police officers, education professionals and health professionals. It is also open to Commissioners and Local Authority Officers responsible for commissioning violence against women services.
