This session will explore Part 3 of the  Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (Domestic Abuse Protection Notices and Domestic Abuse Protection Orders) which are not yet in force, and provide an overview of the existing framework for protective orders. The content of this session will depend upon the Government’s progress in developing and piloting these measures.

Who should attend?

It is open to all professionals working in London boroughs on violence against women and girls issues from the community, voluntary and statutory sectors including refuge workers, IDVAs, ISVAs, social workers, housing officers, police officers, education professionals and health professionals. It is also open to Commissioners and Local Authority Officers responsible for commissioning violence against women services.

Priority will be given to professionals from organisations with postcodes in the following boroughs: Enfield, Harrow, Havering, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Waltham Forest.

Eligibility criteria

ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE FILLED OUT TO ASSESS ELIGIBILITY.

Registration does not guarantee a place on the course. After registering we will review your application and send you a confirmation if you meet the eligibility criteria. Due to a high volume of requests and lack of capacity, we can only send emails to confirm your spot on the course. If you have applied but haven’t received a confirmation email, it means that you’ve been placed on our waiting list. If a place becomes available, we will contact you directly to confirm your enrollment.  Cancellations can occur right up until just before the start of the course.
