For professionals Training and Events Family members and protections for victims of domestic violence under the EU Settlement Scheme This 3-hour online training course looks at Family members under the EU Settlement Scheme and the impact of Domestic Violence related relationship breakdown on immigration status under the Scheme. In this course, you will learn about: who may be a family member for the purposes of the EUSS and what status they might have the impact of relationship breakdown on a grant of Pre-Settled Status the eligibility criteria to apply as a victim of domestic violence under the EUSS the procedure for making an application as a victim of domestic violence under the EUSS what practical support you can offer victims of domestic violence in respect of the EUSS where to signpost or refer victims of domestic violence who need help with the EUSS Who should attend? This course is open to non-legal professionals working in England & Wales on violence against women and girls (VAWG) issues from the community, voluntary and statutory sectors including refuge workers, outreach workers, IDVAs and ISVAs. Professionals who attend must be providing or likely to provide free support to women who are EU citizens or their family members and who have been affected by VAWG.
