Senior Legal Officer (Immigration and Asylum)

We are looking for a qualified woman* solicitor or barrister with entitlement to a full practising certificate to join our team. Applications from other candidates who can demonstrate that they have the required skills and experience and can meet the relevant regulatory requirements will be considered.

The Senior Legal Officer (Immigration and Asylum) is responsible for the management and delivery of Rights of Women’s immigration and asylum services and projects. In particular she is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the Athena Project, including delivery of a second tier support service for organisations seeking to achieve and maintain OISC accreditation to support migrant women affected by violence. She is also responsible for the line management of a team of Legal Officers, our Advice Line Gateway Assistant and volunteers and for assisting the Director in the development of and fundraising for our projects and services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled immigration and asylum practitioner with previous management experience. In addition to generous annual leave provisions and a pension entitlement the successful applicant will benefit from flexible working hours.

Services and Administration Officer (28 hours)

We are looking for a committed and passionate woman* to provide vital project and administrative support to the organisation and its services including volunteer recruitment and coordination, monitoring and evaluation and office administration.

You will have excellent administrative and office management skills as well as the ability to collate and analyse data and manage our volunteers and be committed to our vision to achieve equality, justice and respect for all women.

£24,000 per annum pro rata (28 hours per week) plus 3% pension contribution.

Finance Officer (7 hours)

We are looking for a committed and passionate woman* with experience of book keeping and financial administration to support the running of the organisation and its services.

You will have excellent financial and administrative skills as well as an understanding of the governance and accounting requirements of a voluntary sector organisation and be committed to our vision to achieve equality, justice and respect for all women.

£24,000 per annum pro rata (7 hours per week) plus 3% pension contribution.
