Please note that we currently have lower staffing levels on our advice line than usual. Unfortunately this means that we may need to close some of our advice line sessions during the daytime. You can read about our advice lines here.
All our advisors are women solicitors or barristers with expertise in the relevant areas of law. Please ring during the relevant advice line session. We cannot advise outside of the advice line times or by email. We can only advise in English on the law as it applies in England and Wales and that legal advice is available by telephone or textphone only. We can speak to individual women seeking legal advice as well as individuals and organisations who support women with these issues.
The advice lines can be extremely busy, so please be patient. In addition, the women barristers and solicitors who advise on our evening sessions are all volunteers. This inevitably means that because of volunteer absence we occasionally have to close the line at short notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and recommend that you call the relevant Advice Line for a recorded message with the weeks open sessions.
Please note that both our advice lines are telephone services. Unfortunately we cannot answer email enquiries. Please read our FAQ section here

Advice for advisors: We run training courses for advisors working with women. We also produce a range of publications which may be of use.
